It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shelly Ann Louise Michaud (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Charles Michaud and Margaret Michaud; her brothers, Ernest Michaud and Len Rodgers; her brothers-in-law, Larry Mooney and Doug Winters; and her niece Tracie.
She is survived by: her mother Cheryll Winters; her siblings, Carol-Anne Mooney, Debbie Winters (Jamie Claus) and Christopher Winters; her aunts, Joyce, Betty and Edna; her uncle Roland; her siblings' children, Debbie, Kelley, Mary, Matthew, Sean, Wayne, Brian, Lisa, Bernadette, Lori, Tanya, Jeffery, Paula, Shawna, Melanie, Sara, Maria, Pamela, Miranda, Lee and Matt; her friends, Rebecca Magill, George and Georgette; her family, Dr. Rebecca Steen and Dr. Myles Ashall; and her caregivers, Sandy, Katarina and Clarissa. She is also survived by her nieces or nephews was having another child or grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2).
