Slavko Jagusic Obituary

The memory of Slavko Jagusic (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Janko Jagusic and Marica Jagusic; and his siblings, Drago Jagusic, Mike Jagusic, Joe Jagusic (Ana), Kata Bersinic (Toma), Barka Baric (Ivan), Andelka Jefak (Ivan) and Maca Zvonar (Ludvig).

He is survived by: his wife Ljubica; his children, Peter Jagusic and Fanika Jagusic; his siblings, Ljubica Zefkic (John), Nevenka Protulipac (Mirko) and Danica Cvitak (Ivan); his friends, Nikola and Milka Cule of Vancouver; and his pet Jamie. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Eugene's Parish (232 Queenston Rd, Hamilton, ON L8K1G6). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1S9).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Holy Cross Croatian Church or the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation (Hamilton General Hospital) would be appreciated by the family.
