It is with great sadness that we announce the death of So-Ying Cheng in Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Kin "Ken" (Nellie) and Kit Sun "Diana" (John); and her grandchildren, Arden (Alexandra), Grace (Caitlin), Jenna, Joshua, Jorja, Elizabeth "Libby" and Alexander.

In lieu of Flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
