Sonia Vilar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sonia Vilar (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vincenza Berardo and Nestore Berardo; her parents-in-law, Maria Vilar and Gerardo Vilar; her husband Eladio; her daughters, Mariah (Ryan) and Isabella (Reed); her siblings, Doris Harper (Dan), Getulia DeStephanis (Jerry), Miriana Giuliani (Pat), Lorena Vanderwyk and Tony Berardo (Josie); and her siblings-in-law, Rosanna Vilar, Dan Vilar (Laura) and Robert Vilar (Mandy). She was also cherished by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of their choice.
