He is survived by: his spouse Kim; his children, Daniel and Emily; his parents-in-law, Don and Lauraine Strong; his siblings-in-law, Tammy (Stuart) and Brad (Kenzie); and his nieces and nephews, Mikayla, Madison, Kalaya, Keanna, Natasha and John. He is also survived by his family, friends.

As per Stan's wishes, in lieu of flowers, a donation to Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be greatly appreciated.

I knew Stan as a wonderful musician as I had the enjoyment of playing with him in several groups for several years. He was a high level guitarist who provided terrific background for soloists, and could add important effects plus a flavor of his own to the pieces performed by the group.
