He was predeceased by: his spouse Katerina Prytula; his parents, Aleksander Prytula and Anastasia Prytula; his siblings, Nicholas Prytula (Halyna) and Tanya Krawchuk (late Borys); his nieces, Mary Kolkin (late George), Alice Huckalo (George), Natalie, Lisa and Clarissa Prytula; his great-nieces, Kathy (Richard), Lydia (Peter), Valerie (Matthew), Natalie, Alexandra (Jason) and Stephanie; his great-nephew Gabriel; and also, Isabella, Lucas and Felicity.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Nick Shwec (Ann); his niece Kristine; his nephew Robert; and also Roman (Oksana).
