It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen Douglas Ross (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Ross and Barbara Ross; and his sister Deborah Douglas (Greg). He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Stephanie (Dan); his granddaughters, Savannah and Scarlett; his great grandchild Andrew; his sisters, Susan Morgan (Paul) and Melanie Pearson (Tom); his friend Gary Maue; Christopher (Stephanie), Samantha, Isaiah, Sadie, Skylee, Siena and Nicholas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home (90 Garner Rd E, Hamilton, ON L9G3K9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, March 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
