He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Baxter and Eileen Baxter; and his brother Donald Jr. Steve. He is survived by: his children, Steve (Lindsay), Chris (Desarae), Brittany (Robert), Natasha and Stefan; his brothers, Roy, Bill (Liz) and Bobby; and his close friend Henry Lecouter (Pam). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the L. G. Wallace Funeral Home (151 Ottawa St N, Hamilton, ON L8H3Z2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
