With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Marion Chisholm (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Douglas Chisholm; her children, Terry Chisholm, Gary Chisholm (Linda), Veronica McCall (Craig) and Alan Chisholm; her grandchildren, Cameron (Jess), Carling (Ryan), Courtney (Luke), Laura (Tyler), Ryan, Amanda (Haaris) and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Reid, Betty and Oliver; her brother William Petruk; her parents, Harry Petruk and Julia Petruk; and her siblings, Alex, Paul, Lillie, Nellie and Ann.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Homes (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
