He was predeceased by: his daughter Sarah Perry; Ricki, John, Annie and Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughter Jennifer Backler; his sons-in-law, Paul Backler and Reg Perry; his grandchildren, Grace, Simon Backler, Paige and Ida Perry; Bill, Gerry, Diny and Harold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
