It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Steven Nates (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Athena Zaraliakos and Stavros Natos; his siblings, Damianos Natos (Elpiniki Natou), George Nates (Natos) and Mary Nates (Natou); his wife Elisabeth; his siblings' children, Stavros Natos (Evanthia Papathoma), Aglaia Natou, Voula Thalassinos, Dr. Damianos Natos, Niki Natou and Antonis Stasinopoulos; and his friend Michael Rountis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church (233 E 15th St, Hamilton, ON L9A4J8). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at the Mount Hamilton Cemetery (260 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L9B1C2).
Donations can be made to St. Peter's Hospital or Panagia Greek Orthodox Church in Thomas' memory.
