He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose DaCosta and Maria Rosa DaCosta; and his nephew Manuel Vieira. He is survived by: his wife Maria Conceicao; his children, Helena Vieira (Elvis), Gorrett Sousa (Jose), Elizabeth DaCosta (Greg) and Michelle DaCosta; and his friends, Anna Vieira, Debie Augusto, Hilberto and Mira Medeiros. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren along with his many nieces, nephews, cousins.
