He was predeceased by: his parents, Takeo and Fusako; and his siblings, Toyoko, Kenji and Kinji.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Connie; and his nieces, Debbie and Janice.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St Paul's United Church (42 Tragina Ave N, Hamilton, ON L8H5C5). The inurnment was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Eastlawn Cemetery (2280 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8E2W8). A reception was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the St. Paul's United Church (42 Tragina Ave N, Hamilton, ON L8H5C5).
