He was predeceased by: his spouse May Meldrum. He is survived by: his children, Glenn (Sylvia), Catherine Butter (Ray) and Douglas (Debbie); his grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha (Jesse), Kevin (Melissa), Steven (Laura), Keith (Mallorie), Alicia and Jeffery (Jessie); his great grandchildren, Emma, Jameson, Grace, Everett, Jackson, Hannah, Grady, Everley, Ryder, Scarlett, Marshall and Amelia; and his sister Donna. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews including those living in the USA, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
