With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valentina Kolodka (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Kolodka; her parents, Andre Polischuk and Marta Polischuk; and her brother Alexander. She is survived by: her children, Olga (late Joe) and Michael (Teresa); her grandchildren, David, Michelle, Sabrina (Richard), Kylie (Ryan) and Tyler; her sister-in-law Rosita; her nephews, Paul (Ana) and Peter; her pet Norman; Angel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cresmount Funeral Home Fennell Chapel (322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt Hamilton Cemetery (260 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L9B 2J3). A reception will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cresmount Funeral Home Fennell Chapel (322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2).
