He is survived by: his wife Chansouk; his children, Bounmy, Khongsy, Elbert, Wichai, Souwannee, Siriphone, Sathid and Thong Soon; his grandchildren, Cynthia, Justine of Alex, BJ, Pamela, Leila and Luca; and his great grandchild Clara.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Home (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A procession was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at the Bayview Cemetery (740 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J3).
