She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Engel and Elizabeth Engel (Elsie); and her husband Douglas Brown. She is survived by: her sons, Andy (Kathy), Kevin (Sarah), Brian (Kathleen) and Darren (Kim); her grandchildren, Spencer (Tara), Helen (David), Laura, Shauna, Patrick (Paige), Bridget, Jonathan, Noah, Braeden and Ryleigh; and her siblings, Edward (Edda), Sydney (Joanne), Gary (Bernadette) and Eric (Kathy).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, Hamilton.
