Vernon Scott Jacques Obituary

We announce the death of Vernon Scott Jacques (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 53. Vernon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Vernon will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Vernon’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gail Sayles and Vernon Jacques Sr.; his son Quentin Battyanyi; his sister Lisa Almonte; and his niece Veronica Almonte. He was also cherished by his aunts, uncles, extended family, and many friends.
