John Riley wrote a sympathy message

“So, so sorry to hear about Veronica's passing. We were very blessed to meet her and Brian at Shore acres park 2018. And have been friends ever since. Veronica was always a happy and positive person. She and myself (Rita) always had a catch phrase when greeting each other on the phone. ( always HAVE YOU GOT YOUR NICKERS ON? ) REPLY, WHAT EVER ( COLOUR ) Rest in piece Veronica. And keep everyone laughing. Will miss you down in Florida. John and Rita.”
