He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Domenica; his parents, Giuseppe Cannella and Carmela Cannella; his parents-in-law, Gioacchino and Salvatrice Aquino; his siblings, Angela Ruggieri (Giuseppe), Salvatore Cannella and Benito Cannella (Luisa); his siblings-in-law, Carmelina Cannella, Nicoletta Soriano (Vicente), Calogero (late Antonietta), Giuseppe (Francesca) and Salvatore Aquino (Yvonne); and his nieces and nephews, Spain and Germany.
He is survived by: his sons, Giuseppe (Nicoletta) and Gioacchino (Margaret); his grandchildren, Danielle Tornifoglia (Joe), Evan (Lindsay), Joey (Sera), Garrett (Fiona) and Colin Cannella; and his sister Giuseppina (late Calogero Graci).
