It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vittoria Raco (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vincenzo; her parents, Giuseppe Silivestro and Maria Silivestro; and her siblings-in-law, Giovanni Prunean, Domenic and Annina Silivestro.
She is survived by: her children, Michael, Tammy Raco, Vincenza and Wayne Nickerson; her grandchildren, Michael, Victoria, Domenic DiCenzo, Julia, Andrew, Alisa, Aaron Insanalli, Danielle, Jacob, Julian, Vincent and Isaiah; and her siblings-in-law, Grazia, Stella, Vincenzo Cocca, Nancy, Rocco Giovinazzo, Norma Silivestro and Michelino. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral Basilica of Christ (714 King St W, Hamilton, ON L8P1C7).
