With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vyvyan Clare Reilly (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Peter; and her parents, P. X. Dermody and Mary Elin Dermody (Fleming). She is survived by: her husband Russell; her children, Michael (Jane), Edwin (Jane), Matthew (Anne Marie), Therese (Tom) and Patrick (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Danielle, Kevin, Patrick, Holly, Joseph, Casey, Brady, Shaughn, Kyra, Quinn, Kael, Steven, Sarah, Thomas, Rachel, Matthew, Jake and Maddy; her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Sullivan, Claire, Reid, Adeline, Hudson, Jack and Samuel; her siblings, William P. Dermody (Mary Margaret), Felicitas Hockton (Hugh) and Therese Peckham (Tom); and her sister-in-law Eileen Gooding (George).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Home (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4). A prayer will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 7:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (11 Wilson St W, Ancaster, ON L9G1N1).
