He was predeceased by : his brother Karl; and his son Ward. He is survived by : his wife Linda Ruth Grant; his sons, Norman, Kent, Wayne and Jason; his sister Trudy; his stepson Robert Scott; and his grandchildren, Rosina, Marcee, Vanessa, Morgan, Giovanni, Maria-Sofia, Zoe, Isla and Ronin.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home (36 Lake Ave Dr, Stoney Creek, ON L8G3N3). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
