With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Andrew Baxter (Hamilton, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on May 8, 2026 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Uttridge and William Baxter; and his wife Sharon Baxter. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Louise Baxter, Michelle Suzanne Burroughs (Baxter) and Grant William Baxter; his granddaughter Chloe Anne Burroughs; and his siblings, Sue Russell, Larry Russell, Laurie Tiberi (Vince Tiberi), Barbara Dalrymple (Ron Dalrymple) and Lynda Baxter (John Baxter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Parish (20 Idlewood Ave, Hamilton, ON L8T1V9). A burial will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (254 Garner Rd W, Ancaster, ON L9G3K9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Alzheimer Society or the Cancer Assistance Program.
