He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline and Bill; his brother Dave Derkach; and his mother-in-law Catherine Binns. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, Greg and Steven; his father-in-law James Binns; his brother Chuck; and his siblings-in-law, Justyna, Sandra, Dan Singer, Sheila, Brian Mandula and Andrea Binns. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a great nephew.
