He was predeceased by: his parents, William Downey and Caroline Downey; and his brothers, Carl (Patricia) and Patrick Downey. He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Margie, David, Linette, Grant, Craig, Colleen and Glen; his siblings, Diane Brown and Bob Downey (Cathie); his sister-in-law Marge Downey; and his friend Jean.
