With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Edmund Lawrence (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, William Edmund is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William Edmund's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his brother Gilbert (late Iris). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his brother Tony Lawrence (Shirley); his children, Carol Castle (Ted) and Marion Bowslaugh (Gary); and his stepchildren, Wanda Zsiros (Paul), Vance Zsiros (Donna), Joy Forbes (Rick) and Jessica Zsiros (Mark). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre Inc. (100 King St E, Dundas, ON L9H1C4). A reception was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre (100 King St E, Dundas, ON L9H1C4).
