William Kaandorp Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Kaandorp (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ria. He is survived by: his children, Jo-Anne Mataitis (Erwin), John Kaandorp and Margareth Riley (Doug); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Huddleston (Tony), Nicole Leng (Matt), Michelle Taffs (Mike), Meghan Riley (Mike), Rachel Batten (Scott), Wyeth Mitropoulos and Anaïs Mitropoulos. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, his sister here in Canada and five siblings.
