He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Margaret Whitmore; his son Jimmy; and his grandchildren, Naomi and Christopher. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Kidd (Ian), Sandy Cloutier (Tom), Dan (Audrey) and John (Diane Crawshaw); and his grandchildren, Cameron, Jennifer, Laura, Marc, Janette, Brian, Rebecca, Nicole and Dale. He is also survived by his ten great-grandchildren.
