Wilma Groen Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 7, 2026, at the age of 79, Wilma Groen in Hamilton, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Julia; her parents, Cornelius and Trijntje "Trudy"; and her siblings, Carl (Audrey), Aafje and Margaret (Kees).
She is survived by: her children, Tracey (Owen), Jim (Laurie), Cliff (Kierstin), Deb (Jan), Murray and Ray (Vanessa); her grandchildren, Gamal (Emma) and Hayley (Nick); her children, Connor, Carter, Sydney, Rhys (Lisa), Greg, Heather, Ashley, Bentley, Lukas, Corbin, Hudson, Tucker and Violet; her siblings, John (Gloria), Mary (Henry), Julia (John), Paul (Eve) and Trudy (Jed); and her former husband Neil Groen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honour to the Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton, an organization that provided great support to Wilma and her family over her final years as she struggled with this terrible disease.
