We are sad to announce that, on January 1, 2021, Winifred Capriotti (Hamilton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her children, Teresa, Joseph and Michelle; her parents, Joan and James Hodgson; her brothers, Bernie and Joseph Hodgson; her grandchildren, Rachel, Holly, Jonah, Max, Portia, Mason and Ella; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Loni and Isla.

Special thanks to the Covid unit at St. Joseph's hospital, nurses and doctors who were kind and compassionate during a difficult time. Due to Covid protocol the family will be having a private service and a Celebration of Life to follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to the Catholic Family services or a charity of your choice.

“We were so shocked, and saddened to hear of our dear friend Winnie passing away. Winnie was like part of our family for at least 20 or more years. She would go above and beyond her role of family counselor, or therapist. She even accompanied me to my father's funeral back in 2013, giving me love and support I needed. I was one of the many woman who Winnie helped and encouraged with Family Life Line counselling, using the family binders program. I will forever be thankful, and grateful to her.”
