The family announces the passing of Yaroslava Fedas (Hamilton, Ontario) on September 20, 2026. Yaroslava, born on August 23, 1924, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Skrypka and Joseph Skrypka; and her husband Eugene. She is survived by: her siblings, Natalia, Tekla, Volodymyr, Roman, Slavko (Fran) and Hania; her daughters, Christine Wityk (Michael), Doreen Moroz (Roman), Lesia Hucal (Morris) and Baba; her grandchildren, Ulanna (Mark), Natalia (Oleksander), Mark (Katie), Andrew (Zoe), Myra (Matthew), Adrian (Kylie) and Kalynna; and her great grandchildren, Mila, Luke, Sophia and Michael. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A prayer will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church (260 Melvin Ave, Hamilton, ON L8H2K2). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at the Queen's Lawn Cemetery (109 Main St E, Grimsby, ON L3M1W6).
