Yolanda Gelderman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yolanda Gelderman (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on November 30, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Timothy; and her parents, Basil Hermanus and Naomi Hermanus. She is survived by: her husband Harry; her children, Justin, Brandon, Nathan, Hillary, Tyler, Sarah, Sheldon and Pwo; her grandchildren, Damien, Ethan, Charlie, Grace, Lilly, Isla, Noah, Theo, Sadie, Ezra, Genesis, Scarlett, Louis and Faith; her parent-in-law Ali Gelderman (late Jan); and her siblings, Earl, Courtleigh (Lynn) and Bernice (Paul). She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews, extended family.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Redemption Canadian Reformed Church (823 Safari Rd, Hamilton, ON L8B1S4). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Woodland Cemetery (700 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J3).
