He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonathan Anoje Obidi and Hannah Adenike Obidi; and his brother Femi Obidi. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Simms-Obidi; his children, Itunu Obidi and Simi Obidi; and his siblings, Funlola Ademola, Bunmi Mayo, Shola Egure, Tosin Obidi, Timothy Obidi and Tolu Isaac Obidi.
