Evelyn Heard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2025, at the age of 91, Evelyn Heard (Hampton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne; her grandson Peter Best; and her brothers, Everett Finney (late Donna) and Harvey Finney Gordon (late Betty). She is survived by: her daughters, Gale Coburn (Dennis) of Kirkfield and Sandra Best (Grant) of Newtonville; her grandchildren, Thomas Best (Alexandra) of Orono, Christopher Best (Stephanie) of Cobourg and Kaitlynne Lowe (Andrew) of Halifax, NS; her great grandchildren, Marlee, Cooper, Nash and Paeton; her siblings, Phillip Finney (Roberta), Teresa Farrow (late Jim) and Glen Finney (Jackie); and her caregivers, Stephanie, Pam and Pema.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Cemetery (5165 Enfield Rd, Hampton, ON L0B1J0). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Eldad United Church (Solina) (1848 Concession Rd. 6, Hampton, Ontario L0B1J0).
