He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Isabel; and his sister Sally. He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Chris Oerlemans (Sherri), Heather Ellis (Ray) and Stephen Payne; his grandchildren, Sarah (Dylan), Caitlin (Matt), Rachel (Jay) and Trinity (Dylan); his stepgrandchildren, Brandon, Joshua and Madison; his siblings, Julie Alexander and Rob Payne (Luanne); and his pet Sherlock. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Ducks Unlimited or the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
