He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Martel and Lena Bedard; and his brother Wilfred Martel (Lou). He is survived by: his wife Gaye Martel; his children, Shelley, Darren (Lesley), Craig (Jody) and Trevor (Erynne); his grandchildren, Nathan, Sarah, Ethan (Nikita), Jonathan, Ewan (Vanessa), Emilena, Matthew and Michael; and his niece Sherry Cuthbertson.
