He was predeceased by: his wife Aline Démoré; his children, Francine Gagnon (Dan), Gaetanne Gascon, Diane St. George, Marcel Démoré (Joy) and Pierre Démoré; his grandchildren, Alain Gagnon, Eric Gagnon, François Gascon, Marc Gason, Robin St. George, Michel St. George and Courtney Démoré; his parents, Émile Démoré and Argentine Démoré; Irene Fournier, Florence Morin, Simon, Réjeanne Forget, Gilbert, Gérard, Florian, Desneige, Omer and Gilberte.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wilfrid (Nicole), Cécile Boychuk (John) and Thérèse Lavoie (Lucien); and his siblings-in-law, Henri Forget and Reine-Aimée Démoré. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel (4605 Michelle Dr, Hanmer, ON P3P 1E6). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jacques Church (46 Cote Blvd, Hanmer, ON P3P1X5).
