He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Beitz; his brother Mike Beitz; his parents, Harvey Beitz and Caroline Beitz; and his parents-in-law, Marjorie and Allan Manto.
He is survived by: his wife Lynda (Lynn); his children, Jessica Hastie (Brandon) of Hanover, Jeremie Duguay (Michayla) of Durham, Keith of Owen Sound and BJ Coville (Sarah) of Chesley; his pets, Buddy, Smoke and Dolly; and his siblings, Barry (Donna) of Teeswater, RoseAnn Koebel (Tim) of Riversdale, Darlene of Hanover, Susie (Pat) of Midland, Jeff (Karen) of Allan Park and Ron Manto (Jackie "Pretty Lady") of Tiverton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 102 (505 Scott St, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hanover and District Hospital Foundation – Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the family.
