Earl Trelford Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Earl Trelford of Hanover, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Donna (Barfoot); his siblings, David and Gwen Scarrow (Harvey); and his parents, Lorne Trelford and Lillian Trelford (Hall).

He is survived by: his children, Carole Robertson (Wayne) of Kincardine, Doug Trelford (Katie) of Chesley and Bill Trelford (Tracy) of Chesley; his stepchildren, Cherylann LaPlant (Keith) of St. Fauquier, Steven MacKenzie (Janice) of Oromocto, David MacKenzie (Sharon) of Invermay and Diane Drane (Mike) of Meaford; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Boyle-Trelford of Kitchener and Gordon Barfoot (Wendy) of Owen Sound. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chesley Community Church (307 1st Ave N, Chesley, ON N0G1L0).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chesley Hospital Foundation or the Chesley Community Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
