She was predeceased by : her parents, Bill Dennie and Shirley Dennie; and her husband Fred Johnston. She is survived by : her children, Krista Johnston (Todd) of Creemore and Scott Johnston (Jen) of Kitchener; her granddaughters, Sawyer and Shay; and her siblings, Pam Schumacher (Ron) of Walkerton, Frank Dennie of Walkerton, Jim Dennie (Marlene) of Walkerton and Rob Dennie of Walkerton. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.

As per COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a maximum of 40 people in the facility at any one given time. Masks and Social Distancing rules must be adhered to.

Memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce - South Build or to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Walkerton would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
