He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gerber and Ethel Gerber (Smith); and his siblings, John, Gerald, Vern, Kenneth, Rosetta Hewitt and Helen Knarr.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Gerber of Hanover and Amanda Gerber of Clifford; his grandchildren, Larsen (Grace Murikami), Danielle Lorenz, Brooke Lorenz and Kaleb Lefebvre; and his brother William Gerber of Guelph. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
