We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2021, at the age of 85, Joan Poechman (Hanover, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Tanner and Isabel Tanner; her brother Beverley Tanner; and also, Francis, Harold, Lillian and Willard.

She is survived by : her husband Allan Poechman; her children, Terry Poechman (Penny Croft) of Chesley, Patricia Strong (Steve Albert) of Walkerton and Daryl Poechman (Patricia Smith) of Paisley; her grandson Adam Poechman (Jen); her children, Jaden, Ella, Trey, Allanna Hubley (Kevin), Olivia and Penelope; her grandchildren, Jeremy Murdoch, Tyler Strong and Samantha Oosthoek (Justin); her siblings, Betty Nelson (Jack) of Edmonton, Ruth Engel (late Alan) of Hanover and Shane Tanner (Gail) of Fergus; and her sister-in-law Edith Austin. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

As per COVID -19 Directives, all attendees must wear a mask and observe social distancing rules as there are a limited number of people allowed in the facility at any one given time.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, which Joan supported for many years, would be appreciated.
