She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Hackson and Hazel Hackson (Sims); her siblings, David (Helen), Neil, John and Lorna Martin (Sandy); and her nephews, Ian (Shirley), Andrew (Tina), Ross (Lisa) and Gregg Hackson.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Marilyn O'Dell (Paul), Leigh Monette (Bill), Kim Robinson (Rick), Heather Hackson, Davey, Darren (Darlene), Kevin (Darlene), Graham Hackson, Alex (Melody), Cameron Martin (Mary) and Brent Harrison (Tanya).
