We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2019, at the age of 84, Chris Smits (Harley, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his children, Christine Hoogstraten (John), Cathy Sprowl (John), Teresa Jones and Joe (Andrea); his grandchildren, Justin (Melanie), Lauren (Paul), Megan (Kyle), Leah (Kyle), Zoey (Derek), Bronte (Josh), Kailah, Julianna, Gerrit and Liam; his great grandchildren, Abbi, Aaron, Lana, Lincoln, Weston, Finley, Maisy and Hudson; his siblings, Mia and Wim (Martha); and also Holland.

As expressions of sympathy, donations in Chris' memory may be made to the Burford Optimist Youth Fund.
