Alvin Hershey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin Hershey (Harriston, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alvin Hershey to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Hershey (Luedke); his parents, Abner Hershey and Alvina Hershey (Braun); his brother Mervin Hershey (Ferne); and his daughter Eunice Deibel.

He is survived by: his children, Dale and Joan Hershey of Ayton; his grandchildren, Abner, Michele Hershey of Mitchell, Tyler and Josie Hershey of Owen Sound; his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jessie, Terran, Trista, Cyrus and Kurtis; Myrtle Winters, Bill and Shirley Luedke.

Memorial donations to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mount Forest, or to the Alzheimer Society (Ride to End Alzheimer's) would be appreciated, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
