He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Cathy Rasmussen (Simmermaker); his daughter Aimee Lootsma (Mike) of Port Elgin; his grandson Owen Lambley; his parents, Elly Rasmussen of Listowel and Ole Rasmussen; his siblings, Hans, Phyllis Rasmussen of Bloomington, Illinois, Inger and Bo Ivo of Atwood; his siblings-in-law, Bill and Judy Simmermaker of Cambridge; and his nephews, Erik Rasmussen, Ole Ivo, Aksel Ivo, Anders Ivo (Melissa) and Chris Simmermaker (Jamie).
