She was predeceased by : her husband Harvey Mercier; her parents, Charles Newman and Martha Newman (Scott); her siblings, Gerald Newman, Robert Newman, Donald Newman and Janice Hale (Bernard); and her siblings-in-law, Carmie Newman, Mildred Newman, Andrew Lett and Jack Binkley.
She is survived by : her children, Lisa Schovanek and Cameron Lang of Morinville, Alberta.; her siblings, Faye Binkley of Harriston, Keith (Wendy Newman), Sharon Lett (Harlen Whetham), Dale Newman (Lil Bode), Lloyd Newman (Cathy Cybulskie) and Bonnie (Frank Mantler); and her sisters-in-law, Frances Newman of Clifford and Elaine Newman of Hanover. She is also survived by her friends.
Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
