She was predeceased by : her husband Lorne Metcalfe; her brothers-in-law, Allan Metcalfe, Edgar Metcalfe and Don; her brothers, Jim Sheardown (Connie) and Hugh Sheardown; her siblings-in-law, Ruth Metcalfe, Hilda Metcalfe, Jim Connell, Murray Jelly, Earl and Beth Metcalfe; and her parents, Hugh Sheardown and Mabel Sheardown.

She is survived by : her children, Carol Ortelli (Malcolm) of Espanola and Wallace Metcalfe (Luce) of Laverochere, Quebec.; her grandchildren, Katrina, Ryan Telfer, Sabrina Metcalfe, Maxime Lacroix, Jessie Metcalfe and Alex Laniel; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Emerson, Vincent, Keeva Telfer and Emile Laniel; her siblings, Shirley Sheardown, Walter, Grace Sheardown and Helen Connell; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Metcalfe and Mary Sheardown.
