He was predeceased by : his sister Aida Simoes (Fernando); and his siblings-in-law, Jaime Gomes (Lizete) and Arthur Gomes (Ann). He is survived by : his spouse Laurinda Antunes (Gomes); his children, Bella Carvalho (Claudio) and Carlos Carvalho (Heather); his sibling Armindo Carvalho (Celeste); and his sister-in-law Alice Laporte (Brad). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
